Core Responsibilities:

• Layout and SLD drawings understanding.
• Schematic drawing reading.
• Point to point check and tracing.
• LV Switchgear/MCC/Panel board testing.

1. Component verification against drawings.
2. Contact resistance.
3. Insulation resistance.
4. Hi-pot.
5. Circuit breaker timing test (Primary injection), with the capability of understanding the circuit breaker tripping curve.
6. Circuit breaker secondary injection.
7. Instrument transformer testing (Ratio, excitation curve, IR).
8. Analogue/Digital meters.
9. Protection relays programming and testing for different protection elements and covering wide range of relays (e.g. Feeder, differential, Distance, O/U voltage, …etc.).
10. ATS or MTM (if applicable)
11. Functional test.

• MV Switchgear/MCC testing:

1. Component verification against drawings.

5. Circuit breaker closing/opening timing.
6. Instrument transformer testing (Ratio, excitation curve, IR).
7. Analogue/Digital meters.
8. Protection relays programming and testing for different protection elements and covering wide range of relays (e.g. Feeder, differential, Distance, O/U voltage, …etc.)
9. ATS or MTM (if applicable)
10. Functional test.

• Testing Equipment handling:

1. Hi-pot.
2. Megger.
3. Primary injection.
4. Secondary injection (there’s so many options here).
5. CB analyser.

• Prepare test procedure and test sheet
• Review the design, and give solution and coordinate with commissioning supervisor
• Reporting and reviewing the product issues NCRs and give solution.
• Document and follow up site activities progress and issues.

المهارات

Qualifications:

1- Educational Background: BSc degree in Electrical Engineering

2- Work Experience: 2-5 years experience in testing and commissioning or technical office or engineering.

3-Technical skills & Knowledge:

• Commissioning Substation MV /LV Electrical equipment and control Systems.
• Computer tools MS Office & MS Project

4- Languages: Good command of English language

5- Personal & Soft Skills:

• Good communication skill
• Capability to work under pressure
• Good negotiator, motivated well organized, strong personality

6- Job site & Location: Egypt & GCC mainly KSA
