o promote the Employee Wellness Program (EWP) and support with Employee Engagement.
The ideal incumbent for this role is to promote and maintain the EWP to all levels of employees, with the main focus on blue-collar employees. To point blue-collar employees to the correct escalation process and support with employee engagement.
Job Responsibilities
Basic Function & Scope of Job
EMPLOYEE WELLNESS PROGRAM (EWP)
• To support the Snr HR Manager – Employee Relations with the implementation, ongoing promotion, and the evaluation of the EWP for all levels and all divisions across the GCC.
• Monitor and review the quarterly report results and KPI’s.
• Help establish and maintain an EWP Champion community across all brands across the GCC.
• Identify issues during the awareness training programs and employee grievances that can be highlighted to business HR
• Ensure the EWP promotional material is in all the locations.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
• If required, to help HR mediate conflict in the workplace but always remaining impartial, confidential, fair, and professional in conjunction with the Sr. Manager – ER.
• ER Case management, ensuring the cases are tracked, maintain ER metrics and reports, plus ensuring the outcome of each case is compliant, fair, consistent with business priorities, local labor law and adhering to the Alghanim Industries Code of Conduct and Alghanim Industries Values.
• To act as a translator in employee grievance or appeal hearings, if requested.
• Ensure effective working relationships with stakeholders.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
• Support with the implementation of an Organization Health Index.
• Support the Snr HR Manager – ER by developing initiatives and solutions to support the engagement awareness and implantation, together with business unit HR Managers and HR Directors.
EMPLOYEE WELFARE – EMPLOYEE BASIC HEALTH CHECKS, SPORTING EVENTS & SOCIAL NETWORKS
• Plan and co-ordinate and execute employee basic health checks, sports events, initiatives for the group such as cricket, football, beach games, bowling, talent competitions, movie nights, mindfulness/meditation sessions, health talks etc.
• Plan and coordinate health, wellness and physical programs to foster employee and business relationships.
BUSINESS OUTCOMES
• Maintain & develop ER/EWP metrics and case tracking.
To ensure ER policies are communicated and shared with employees.
• To constantly communicate and create awareness of the Code of Conduct, Grievance, Disciplinary, Whistleblowing and the escalation process, with main focus on blue-collar employees.
• Ensure effective working relationships in a diverse multi-cultural & competitive commercial environment.
• Maintain a strong network of internal and external specialists and peers.
• To support business and conduct random staff accommodation spot checks
• Will support with organizing wellness events and sporting events.

المهارات
Graduate degree, preferably in the psychology field.
• ± 5 years’ experience working in the Middle East/ GCC is essential.
Skills
• Strong ethics and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
• Excellent communication skills and speak numerous languages. Must be able to confident in most situations and be able to work in a predominately male business environment and with blue-collar employees ensuring an effective working relationship in a diverse multi-cultural & competitive commercial environment.
• Knowledge of local Labor Law would be an added advantage. Must want to help others and be empathetic, caring, calm and compassionate.
• Ability to analyze and concisely explain verbally and in writing
• Must have the ability to manage conflict and seek conflict resolution.
• Extensive experience dealing with blue-collar employees across the GCC.
• Experience with dealing with Employee Wellness Programs in the GCC.
• Have a good understanding of the diverse local community cultures and identifying the correct course of communication style to engage with each of them.
• Can communicate through use of skits, plays, heath checks and regular dialogue on health issues with our employees and staff accommodation management
• Has experience in running or facilitating an EWP in the GCC in order to understand the challenges of an expat life in the GCC.
