Job Purpose:
Gulf International General Trading & Contracting Co ‘GIGT’, a subsidiary of Senergy Holding Company ‘SHC’, is seeking to hire Sales Officers/Engineers (x2) to expand the portfolio of GIGT on the Power, Oil & Gas. Applicants shall have the experience with K Companies e-bidding procedures beside bidding for open sourced/closed tenders. Applicant’s responsibilities include acquiring and bringing qualified and new vendors to GIGT’s portfolio to expand sales targets, maintaining client relationships, and reporting any customer requests or complaints to the Business Development Director. A sales officer/engineer concentrates on networking with stakeholders, potential customers, and suppliers; demonstrating features and functionalities of the product; persuading and convincing hesitant customers; closing sales; troubleshooting potential issues; handling inquiries; and meeting regulatory standards. He/she is also responsible to help the department achieve their budget forecast.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Activities:
- Create and maintain long-term client/vendor relationships.
- Understand and provide efficient and effective customer service to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Accurately complete of all sales related documentation, to close the sale.
- Consistently apply all risk and due diligence policies, practices and procedures.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Keep a complete and accurate record of all sales and project documentation.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
- Prepare and present sales reports to the higher management
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales targets
- Improve branding awareness by collaborating with the other departments to develop various promotional activities
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Review competitor product offerings.
- Make cold calls to attract potential customers.
- Develop effective sales strategies.
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical), business administration, business management, marketing, or a similar discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ frontline experience in sales-handling medium and large accounts within the Power, Oil and Gas Industry.
- Precisely aware of K-Companies (KOC, KNPC, KJO, JO, EQUATE) bidding procedures and registrations.
- Previously worked in bidding for Pipes (all types), Valves, OCTG, sucker rod, power insulators, Chemicals, Marine Accessories, switches, transformers, light poles, drilling accessories and/or any type of material/product that regularly consumed by K companies or Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewables MEWRE.
- Preference will be given to candidates that worked with Tier A local trading companies active in representing international principals.
- Knowledge of bidding for shortlisted (have connection with qualified vendors/contractors) and open sources e-bids.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office, fluent in English & Arabic.
- Based in Kuwait with Transferable Residency #18.
- Kuwait Driving License.
