Technical Accounting Finance Lead
Job Description
Our Client
A high growth Fintech business are launching a new Buy Now Pay Later product and are recruiting a Technical Accounting Finance Lead to support their growth. This role can be based in either Riyadh KSA or Dubai UAE.
Your Responsibilities
- Become an active member of a small project team, providing guidance and advice on technical accounting matters to support the business operating model
- Develop accounting policies and standards. Contribute to the issuing or updating of local accounting policies under IFRS as implemented in KSA
- Partnering with a 3rd party ledger provider to advise on the accounting implications of the business and actively ensuring that they are aware of all forthcoming accounting changes and their impacts
- Supervise junior analysts covering finance and treasury operations
Your Qualifications
- Experience in audit and advisory services in one of Big 4 audit global firms or local equivalent
- Experience in applying IFRS / KSA / GCC accounting standards, preferably to financial services organisations
- You will have ideally have worked in a project environment setting up a Fintech before
- People management experience is preferred
