Description:
We are currently looking for a Resident Engineer who has extensive knowledge and experience in project execution and implementation of water transmission/distribution projects, pumping station, tanks, pumps, pipelines, surge vessels, air compressors, control valves, safety relief valves, electromechanical equipment etc. The candidate must have full and complete knowledge of the existing infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.
Skills & Abilities:
-Strong understanding of operation and control philosophies of surge protection devices, capable to review & approval of Contractor submittals for hydraulic studies & calculations, pumps, surge vessels, control valves.
-ability to review the design, work program, material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, payments, variation orders and claims etc.
-effectively manage the site supervision staffs during construction & ensuring the works are being carried out according to the Contract specifications.
-ensure the site safety practices
-prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
-familiarity with DEWA general conditions of contract, quality assurance.
-ability to effectively liaise with client, co-ordination with Governmental Organization and other Consultants/Contractors
-excellent written & communication skills, time management & supervision skills

-15 years of overall experience with a minimum of 10 years as resident engineer in infrastructure works and water projects.
-Degree in Engineering (Mechanical)
