Description
Timely processing of all accounts payable transactions, through Chrome River, across the Middle East, Africa & India regionEnsuring all accounts payable transactions are correctly posted to the General Ledger using appropriate cost centre or balance sheet codesEnsuring supplier charges are applied and passed-through to client billable projects or 'matters'Ensuring strict adherence with US GAAP SOX principles, specifically obtaining the appropriate approval of accounts payable transactions, before completion of transaction processingManage questions from the business and ensuring issues are resolved timely, efficiently and professionallyManage questions from external suppliers and ensuring issues are resolved timely, efficiently and professionallyPreparing multi-currency payment runs on a regular basis using various banking platforms.Booking of cash receipts in to respective client matters after consultation with the relevant segments.Other ad hoc duties as required
Profile
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience and preferably in a professional services environmentLanguages: English and Arabic are mandatorySaudi Nationals are encouraged to applyExperience working in multi-currency environmentExperience of using an automated front end Accounts Payable approval application (e.g. Chrome River, Concur, SAP, Oracle or other similar ERP applications)Ability to interact with business experts in a professional, timely and courteous mannerAbility to interact with external suppliers in a professional, timely and courteous mannerUnderstanding of VAT and applicability to accounts payable transactions
Preferred skills:
Experience of a professional services environmentKnowledge of Chrome River and/or Elite EnterpriseEnergetic, self-driven and able to prioritise workload without consistent directionQuick learnerOpen team player who is able to take on a variety of responsibilitiesAn effective communicator – both oral and writtenStrong attention to detail is essential
