About the Role:
- Develop, manage operational processes. ensure QA processes tie into technology delivery practices, standards
- Manage intake/demand/schedule, perform risk assessments, communicate/negotiate timelines, budget, staffing, scope and milestones
- Expert hands-on knowledge on Test Automation techniques and tools
- Develop, manage QA departmental resource/tool plan & budget to ensure funds are used appropriately, comply with budget targets and vendor terms and conditions
- Manage documentation creation, review, sign-off (e.g. test strategies, plans, schedule, cost estimates, test cases, dashboards, defect logs, test phase closure reports, entry/exit criteria), ensure artifacts adhere to standards and audit requirements.
- Create Visibility to stakeholders using JIRA dashboards or similar on project progress & bug metrics
- Identify grey areas for QA team and conduct brownbag sessions to make the team cross functional
- Experience in Test Management Tools like X-ray or similar, CI/CD
- Expert knowledge using QA testing techniques and industry-standard software tools – selenium or similar( web), Appium or similar( mobile) , Rest assured, postman or similar(webservice) test automation, JMeter( performance), agile tools such as JIRA & confluence, Versioning system – git or similar, Project management & CI tools – Maven, Jenkins or similar
- Set measurable and tangible KPI targets and brainstorm with the team to drive successful results and deliverables
- Guide QA teams regularly and provide testing/test automation strategy in-order to effectively validate software solutions, reduce manual efforts and increase ROI
- Knowledge on Omnichannel E-commerce, OMS, PIM, CRM and SAP systems would be added advantage
- SPOC for the complete QA activities which includes functional & non-functional testing, regression testing, and Test automation and takes initiatives on innovative testing & best practices
