Job Description
Title:PDMS Administrator – Multi Discipline
With limited guidance, prepares drawings and tracings using command and data entry methods applicable to CAD system(s) using standard computer aided design (CAD) digitizing techniques and skills.
Operates plotters and similar output devices to generate copies of drawing files. May perform design preparation tasks such as PC board path layout and configuration, internal/external packaging, panel control layouts, etc.
May also perform original design work after receiving the design goal or problem, general method of processing and engineering advice on related theoretical aspects to be taken into account in the design.
Should be proficient in all applicable CAD equipment.
May assist and/or train less experienced staff as needed.
Requires technical drafting/design training from an accredited technical school 12+ years prior CAD drafting experience.
Requirements:
PDMS/E3D CAD Administrator position is a common resource for all disciplines (Piping, Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation) who will be responsible for initial CAD Set-up, resolving CAD issues and also responsible for assisting all disciplines by updating the Review session files, Drawings and report extraction.
