We are seeking to hire an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join in our company for Fire Fighting & Alarm System team. Having a good knowledge of inspection, repair, maintenance, and other electrical works for fire safety equipment and systems.
Experience – Minimum 4 years in the same field
Duties and Responsibilities:
Installs, repairs, and inspects smoke and fire suppression systems inspects tests, and repairs fire alarm wiring, fire alarm panels, and peripheral equipment.
Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
Inspects, repair or replace smoke/heat detectors and sprinkler heads repair and test dry/wet systems tests fire alarm systems using appropriate diagnostic programs and equipment.
Performs tests on fire pumps and standpipe systems. Ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
Performs other general building maintenance as assigned.
Communicate with customers to assure any system deficiencies are promptly reported and corrected.
Document time worked and all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Be able to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment not limited to fall protection, hearing protection, eye protection, and head protection.
