Production Engineer

Plan and control all production consumables to prevent shortages and downtime
Lead, train and guide the production team to ensure that each team member is well equipped with the right skills necessary to perform their work effectively.
Establish and Maintain Work Instructions to guide production workers
Identify and provide required equipment’s’ and tools to carry out the operation smoothly.
Control and Monitor Production WIP
Liaise with different department to immediately resolve production issues.
Deliver Products as per commitment Develop and ensure process parameters to provide consistent product quality and conformance to applicable product specifications.
Monitor and find ways to improve manufacturing cycle times
Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and process inefficiencies
Develop Process for new products
Identify and resolve potential problems that could lead to process failure.
Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability
Responsible for the proper implementation of the IMS procedures in respective area.
Conducting the aspect, impact analysis and risk assessment
Ensure the operational control procedure is in place and followed by the employee.
To participate in emergency drill and to follow the emergency procedure.
Plan and Conduct periodic internal training for subordinates to enhance QHSE skill levels.
Ensures that the plant and the site operates to the QHSE standards of Al fanar Electrical Systems.
Assists/ coordinate with the Safety officer with QHSE matters.
Ensures production equipment and the validity of all appropriate tests certificates.
Looks out for conditions/ situations which causes environmental/ health problems or likely to cause.
Proper implementation of waste management, segregation and disposal.
Monitor and maintain the achievement of KPI’s, management programs etc.
Ensure the availability of right tools for the right job and its calibration
Encourage participation of subordinates in all HSE related matters.
Communicate QHSE requirements to and from the stakeholders.
Ensure all records are filled, complied and maintained as per the documented procedure.
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and other requirements.
Enforce to follow 5S.
Monitor and review the QHSE performance of the subordinates.
Make sure the production plan is not affecting the health and safety of the employees.

B.Sc in Engineering Electrical

2-3 years’ experience in Switch Gear Production

Strong knowledge of computer-based systems and MS office software products (Word, Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint & Visio), CAD and CAM,

Extensive knowledge of Production Process & engineering, System Analysis, Statistics, Design, Physics, Complex problem solving, Trouble shooting & Project management skills
