General Manager – Technology Optimization
Job Description
- Develop performance objectives in coordination with Directorate and continuously conduct progress towards Departmental and strategic objectives and implement periodic performance reports to offer evaluation results and recommend improvements.
- Implement improvements to policies and procedures in order to deliver high-quality services. Carry-out the day-to-day operations, offer expertise, encourage teamwork and coordinate work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee.
- Develop and monitor implementation of optimization plans for radio, transport, core, applications, interconnect, roaming and special events (e.g. Hajj and Ramadan) in line with the Technology strategy.
- Develop and monitor operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and key quality indicators (KQIs) for radio, transport, core, applications, interconnect and roaming through periodic audits to measure performance against set targets.
- Supervise the benchmarking exercise against other operators in KSA with respect to voice, data, etc. to identify and analyze existing performance against competitors.
- Identify improvement opportunities based on results of KPIs, KQIs and benchmarking information and propose optimization solutions or features in order to enhance performance.
- Follow-up with concerned departments for the implementation of improvement actions and provide guidance and support when required.
- Develop and motivate staff, conduct the performance, give formal and informal feedback and appraisals and conduct guidance on training programs to maximize employees performance.
- Bachelor's Degree in Telecom Engineering, or equivalent. Master's Degree (Preferable) in Telecom Engineering, or equivalent.
