Anti-Piracy Specialist – Jordan

The Anti-Piracy Specialist – Local Field Operations is responsible for providing operational support and updates within their base office to the Manager of Anti-Piracy Field Operations, and implementing the approved of the Anti-Piracy strategy.

Responsibilities

• Undertake local coordination of programs intended to identify public viewing premises that are showing beIN channels illegally in beIN broadcast territories
• Undertake local coordination of programs intended to disrupt such premises
• Gather evidence and assist in the preparation and prosecution of legal cases against such premises
• Undertake surveys, and gather intelligence on other forms of piracy impacting the local market including via IPTV apps, websites, localized terrestrial and IPTV networks, control word sharing.
• Undertake trap purchases, and monitoring of the above forms of localized piracy
• Close collaboration with beIN dealers, antipiracy team, and other internal and external parties in the performance of the above duties
• Participate in internal and external meetings as required to support above activities
• Other ad hoc duties to support the activities of the antipiracy team as directed

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, relevant legal qualifications and education
• Demonstrated 5+ years of experience and aptitudes necessary to carry out the required duties, and anti-piracy
