Job Purpose:
The role holders at this level contribute to the preparation of new / renewal / amended credit proposals with recommendations backed by supporting justifications, after proper assessment of inputs received from customers / relationship managers. Their task includes information seeking, analysis and assessment of financials / verification of company and individual documentations, and constantly monitor the accounts for regularization of account positions etc. Their work is generally guided by the Private Banking Credit policy in force. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Collect information from various sources (i.e. customers / Relationship Managers / other Business Units) towards initiation of a credit proposal
- Analysis of Information: Quality of findings Analyze the information collected to make a proper assessment of the case to enable the management take a decision on the credit proposals.
- Preparation of New / Renewal / Amendment Credit Proposals: Quality of proposals Acceptance of recommendations.
- Prepare the proposals based on the information collected and its assessment with recommendations backed by the proper justifications and account strategy for resolution of any expected issues.
- Adhere to the laid down procedures and policies while undertaking the above tasks.
- Suggest possible alternative routes for improving the existing procedures and standards to further improve the customer satisfaction. Personal Development: Knowledge / skills acquired Performance improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of business processes and operating standards to ensure quality of work in the assigned areas.
Person Specification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- +5 years of Credit experience.
- Credit Facility and Credit Control Private Banking knowledge.
