WebLogic Administrator
Job Description
- Having experience on Middleware administration using Oracle WebLogic 8.1/9.2/10g/11g/12c, Oracle FusionMiddleware Forms and Reports, SOA, OSB, IIS Administration for Security Implementation, Performance Tuning, Monitoring, Troubleshooting and Application Deployment.
- Supporting for Production, Staging, UAT and Development environments that runs on various operating systems like Red Hat Linux, Solaris, AIX and Windows platforms.
- Extensive working experience in setting up multiple domains, including Administration Servers, Managed Servers, Machines, Node managers in different cluster environments.
- Deploying EJBs, J2EE Applications (EAR, WAR, RAR) on clustered environment, monitoring the Application servers, and Web server configuration, troubleshooting performance issues using the monitoring tools, Log messages and Log files.
- Configured Clusters, Load-balancing, High availability and fail-over solutions & Web Server plug-ins for Weblogic application server.
- Extensive experience to integrate webserver to Appserver and applying patches, upgrading Service Packs.
- Expertise in configuring and tuning JDBC Connection pools, Multi pools, Data sources, using Oracle and MySQL database.
- Responsible for installing SSL Certificates on Weblogic web servers.
- Responsible for collecting all Thread dumps and Heap dumps for troubleshooting issues and fixed them through various tools and provide a detailed report for Root Cause Analysis.
- Managing Security: Creating new security realms, groups. Knowledge of updating and configuring SSL certificates to Web server & Application Server.
- Creation and configuration of JMS Connection Factories, destinations Topics and Queues, Stores, JMS Server, Distributed Destinations.
- Monitored Execute Queues, idle thread count, garbage collection, CPU utilization, EJB Beans, JMS Queues and JDBC Pools on WebLogic Server.
- Interacted with Weblogic Technical Support Team in resolving the Weblogic critical issues and follow up on the opened case/service tickets with respect to the Severity.
- Experience in providing 24*7 application support for Production, Stage, Test and Development environments.
- Monitor, track, update, report on Incident Records (IR's) for resolving the problems in both Production and Non-Production environments.
- Involved in bridge calls with other team members and developers for resolving the high priority issues in the Production Environment.
