JOB TITLE: SENIOR ACCOUNTANT/PERFORMANCE ANALYST
REPORTS TO: SECTION HEAD – PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENTLocation : Doha, QatarRole Purpose: These roles will be concerned with the collection, analysis and presentation of financial and accounting data, both internally and externally. Requires an experienced accountant or financier who is able to provide professional advice and guidance relating to a broad spectrum of accounting, management accounting and financial reporting; demonstrating a sound understanding of the underlying principles, concepts andstandards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESMajor Tasks/Activities:

• Monthly Financial highlights to Management.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of monthly Management Report for Industries Qatar (IQ).
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of monthly Profit Margin Analysis Report.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of monthly regular Management Report.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of Management Report Board version of PPT and PDF.
• Identification, compilation and maintenance of Finance Department's Risk Register. Appointed as Risk Champion
• Compilation, preparation and submission of cost breakup details relate to Cost Optimization Project.
• Compilation, preparation and submission of monthly cost break up details (Bain & Company format).
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of monthly Financial Outlook.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of annual financial information for Qatar Steel Annual Report.
• Compilation, preparation and submission of annual financial information for Qatar Steel annual Sustainability Report.
• Identification and compilation of data relates to Business Continuity Management project. Appointed as BCM Champion.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of quarterly Balanced Score Card and Finance KPI's. Appointed as Focal Point.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of monthly Operational Profit Analysis.

Monitoring of investment in Subsidiaries/Associates and Available for Sale

• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of monthly Performance Report for Associate Companies of Foulath Holdings and SOLB Steel.
• Compilation, preparation, analysis and submission of Subsidiaries and Associate Company's Performance and Key issues for Board Meetings- PPT.
• Review and submission of key points and issues for Subsidiaries and Associate company's Board Meeting packages for Qatar Steel Board members.
• Monthly monitoring of investments available for sale (in Shares).
• Compilation, Preparation, analysis and monitoring of investment in all other subsidiaries and Associate companies.
• Review and updating internal control procedures for monitoring of Investment in Subsidiaries & Associates as well as Investment Available for Sale.

Other Reports

• Compilation, preparation and submission of annual financial information for World Steel Organization and other related agencies.
• Compilation, preparation and submission of quarterly QP KPI's.
• Co-ordination and submission of monthly Pricing Sheet.
• Up-keep and custodian of Databank for Finance department.
• Compilation, preparation and submission of Miscellaneous Financial information as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• College graduate in Finance or Accountant with minimum 7 years , of which minimum 3 years must be Q.S experience
• Basic computer skills
• Good standard of written and spoken English and well developed report writing ability

• Basic Supervisory skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Communication & Presentation skills written and verbal
• Interpersonal skill
