Legal Director
Job Description
- Set policies and deliver high-level briefs on behalf of senior management relating to key specialist requirements which have a significant impact on the organisation.
- Act as the leading authority within a given Legal discipline in order to provide advice to the business, ensuring best practice internally and externally.
- Lead all Legal activities in the department and ensure the appropriate governance framework is in place to enable business objectives to be met and return on investment maximized.
- Develop and lead the delivery of key large-scale Legal projects which impact across the business ensuring that they are consistent with local and Group strategy and delivered effectively.
- Lead the department/team, ensuring that the appropriate people strategy is in place to recruit, retain, train & develop staff effectively.
- Build key internal and external stakeholder relationships and manage the integration of the department with others in order to influence the business in their approach to commercial risk and deliver a better service to the business.
- May negotiate with external contractors in order to agree and set service standards.
- Working as a consultant to the CEO all matters related to work plan and legal affairs.
- Assessment of the company's strategic partnerships.
- Review and finalize the company contracts, agreements, MOU and legal notes.
- Investigation assigned by CEO in coordination with the concerned authorities.
- Perform any other work assigned by CEO and / or Board of directors.
