- Managing the overall administration of the unit and the services provided with the help of subordinates.
- Supervising and personally carrying out other related duties as and when directed by the Manager and deputizing for him/her in his/her absence.
- Supervising the implementation of suggestions / feedback from internal and external auditors
- Developing, designing and implementing policies, standards and procedures related to the effective management of the department/section.
- Recognizing and identifying potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed.
- Developing and managing the department/section capital and operating budgets within guidelines established.
- Monitoring the budget and suggesting recommendations for operational and capital expenditures for the department/section.
- Monitoring the monthly variance reports and validating/approving departmental expenditures
- Providing for supply ordering, invoice management, purchase order tracking etc.
- Assist end user in the usage of applications by initiating activities with end users in order to ensure optimal adoption of the software is done.
- Recommend new initiatives on software improvements in order to achieve continuous efficiency in operations.
- Provide technical leadership regarding systems configuration management, troubleshooting and systems management methodologies and practices.
- Acts as an internal consultant providing technical guidance to realize industry best practices and long-term economic viability with a focus on clinical and service excellence.
- Provides guidance and specialized applications knowledge to system engineers and other system administration staff, system developers, analysts, users and process owners when needed.
- Participate actively in disaster recovery management and business continuity tests for critical classified software applications to ensure the daily operations is not interrupted due to system failures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
- 5 years progressive IT systems implementation and support responsibility in business information systems such as Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP).
- Understanding of end user requirement and business processes related to finance, supply chain and human resources management to support ERP implementation.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry in the Saudi Arabia.
