Job Description
Civil/Structural Senior Structural Eng.
Scope of work for Sen Structural Eng.:
Lead the design and working submittals development task for design and build projects with other disciplines engineers.
Lead coordination workshops internally / externally.
Design and Review the engineering design documents, including drawings, Specifications, BOQs and others.
Good understanding of Gulf Authorities and utility agencies technical requirements.
Review other engineering disciplines design documents (i.e. Arch., MEP documents) to confirm full coordination and inter-disciplines check
Supervise the work of the Engineers and draftsmen to ensure quality deliverables.
Guiding contractors in any relevant technical and coordination issues and responding to technical clarifications.
Daily & weekly reporting of work, progress & updates to the Project Director.
Ensure that quality deliverables, timely submissions, and project scope requirements are successfully met.
Familiarity with the Oil & Gas best practices, common and up-to-date materials & systems.
Conduct site visits and quality audits on the construction activities if needed.
Communicate effectively & efficiently internally & externally forms themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Minimum Requirements:
10Y+ experience, preferable worked in offshore.
Indian/Filipino Nationality preferred
The work will be in office in Abu Dhabi, Yet the Design, Engineering and Drawings will be related to Offshore Oil & Gas industrial platforms.
Minimum acceptable Education : Bachelor in Civil Engineering / Structural.
