Consultant – Internal Medicine
Job Description
Our client, a leading healthcare facility based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is currently looking for a Consultant – Family Medicine. In this role, you will be responsible for the following and not limited to:
- Provides adequate and competent delivery of quality health care to patients with long and short-term comprehensive care in management of all type of non surgical illnesses.
- Skilled in disease prevention and managing complex disorders of the body.
- Monitoring patients conditions and progress, and re-evaluating treatments, as necessary.
- Preparing official health documents or records, when necessary.
- Uses a variety of diagnostic techniques to treat patients through medication or hospitalization.
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate would have:
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as Internal Medicine Consultant
- MD with American-Board/Saudi-Board-equivalent Certification required Ideally has completed residency in focus area
- Meet the criteria for licensing at consultant level with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- Understand and meet the criteria and standards developed by the Joint Commission International and appropriate standards for a hospital facility.
- Fluently able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English or Arabic, as necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
