ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
The war in Ukraine has left an estimated one in three families without enough food, rising to one in two in some areas of the East and South. More than 6 million Ukrainians have been internally displaced and more than 6 million have left the country. Many of those who remain have lost their livelihoods, especially in areas close to the front lines. Millions who fled their homes to the country’s West are preparing for long-term internal displacement. Many who have returned to liberated areas around the capital, Kyiv, are struggling to rebuild their lives, having run out of money or found their homes reduced to rubble.
WFP is quickly scaling up to support 4.7 million people per month inside Ukraine, using a flexible mix of food and cash assistance. We support people wherever they are, including in areas close to the front line.

JOB PURPOSE
To implement well-defined standard logistics/supply chain processes and activities to enable effective delivery of goods and services for all delivery modalities.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
- Liaise with the Country Office transport planning unit for timely issuance in the Logistics execution support system (LESS) of inland Stock Transfer Orders (STO)/Landside transport instructions (LTI) to transporters for truck deployment.
- Perform timely and accurate data entries in our corporate system (LESS) to guarantee business continuity.
- Collate data and contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely reports of Logistics activities, to contribute to building consistency of information related to food distributions and Inventory records.
- Provide regular support to Sub Offices to ensure data are timely maintained in the LESS corporate system.
- Monitor data quality and take corrective actions to rectify wrongly captured data and ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
- Data analysis and reporting on stock movements and follow-up in case of misalignments.
- Follow up on unresolved issues and troubleshooting in coordination with Country Office and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to ad-hoc and routine reporting requests.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: University Degree (Bachelor’s or Equivalent) in Logistics, Supply chain, Business Administration, computer sciences, Information technology, or related fields.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience where 2 years of experience in supply chain systems, logistics reporting, inventory management, and SAP.
Language: Proficiency in both oral and written communication skills in English and Ukraine.
