Summary
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2.
Advises patients regarding available accommodation and transportation in the Riyadh area. Updates
relevant information, as needed.
3. Helps patients and families through individual or group conferences to understand, accept and follow medical recommendations and Hospital policies.
4. Interviews patients with problems to determine nature and level of problem.
5. Makes rounds in the inpatient and outpatient areas and joins physician rounds as needed. Discusses with patients and care-givers the psychosocial problems related to hospitalization or treatment and provides patients with needed services and information.
6. Utilizes community resources to assists patients to resume life in community or to learn to live within limits of disability.
7. Assists patients with planning for post-hospital care in cooperation with the discharge planner.Education
Bachelor's Degree in
Social Work or other related discipline is required.Experience Required
