Our client, a multinational company is looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive. Understanding of payments industry and cards market is definitely a preference, ideally with some experience in the UAE Acquiring market.
The applicant shall have an understanding of the local merchant acquiring business ideally.
Job Description
Work closely with UAE Acquirers and establish relationships with RMs and Key merchants.
Developing the promotion proposition for UAE to cater for in-bound travelers.
E-com acceptance – Identifying gaps in E-commerce, developing relationships with key stakeholders (PSPs / Merchants) for enablement.
Monitoring key trends in the market and reporting to Management
Data analysis for MI reporting.
Manage Daily Merchant Maintenance activity
Responsible for merchant activity with in specified targeted areas / merchant groups in the countries of the territory (predominantly in Dubai).
Check if the merchants are effective merchants or not (i.e. Staff aware / Terminal Accepts /Logo present).
Find out why the merchants are not effective (missing logo, terminal problem, staff unawareness), and rectify.
Provide detailed reports of activities and findings.
Input the activity information in management database
Create and take actions for enhancement to improve acceptance where necessary
Create activity reports according to Head Quarters or General Managers request
If merchants are not accepting, contacting Head Office / Acquiring Bank to discuss and recruit.
Build relationships with Merchants and in due course develop merchant promotional activities with assistance of UAE Manager.
