Our client a leading Engineering & Trading Group in Oil & Gas industry is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for their Dubai Office.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements
Ship goods abroad and complete customs clearance
Analyzed blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other related documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for ongoing projects.
Researched and evaluated subcontractors based on price, quality, selection, service and support.
Study tender BOQ, quantities take off, sending enquiries to the / subcontractors vendors to get competitive quotations.
Reviewed and completed bid proposals.
Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope
Liaise with service team to establish execution / method statements and reflect the same in estimation.
Prepare man hour calculations for various activities.
Preparing technical clarifications to client for discrepancies in tender documents after reviewing.
Participate in pre- tender meetings, site visits and preparing site visit report to analyze the project scope of work.
Analyze vendor technical offers and commercial as well in view of project specifications and standards.
Preparing comparative statements to analyze and select the most appropriate vendors and subcontractors.
Prepare vendors cost comparative study report to get financial selection of vendors/ subcontractor & price.
Preparing required bid documents includes commercial and technical submittals.
Collect all vendors technical data sheets, vendors specification, drawings and compile in line with tender documents to prepare technical bid submission.
Preparing coordinating post tender technical clarifications and commercial as well.
Assist the management for post tender commercial negotiations with client and vendors as well to reach competitive pricing.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specifications, and regulations
Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
Process purchase orders to acquire goods
Work closely with managerial staff like the Project Manager, supervisor, Site engineer, and maintenance manager to draw up and execute the Clients annual maintenance plan.
Communicate directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs,
servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects required to keep the clients physical assets running smoothly.
Monitor use of PPE and other resources recommend replacements when due.
Monitor safety and health compliance.
Support technicians during their daily equipment inspections and take care of maintenance logs.
Provide a wide variety of administrative assistance to managers, especially in the areas of managing work orders and team communication.
Follow and implement TAWAM HSE Policy with respect to Maintenance activities
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field Mechanical Engineering/Automobile preferred, Minimum 5 years experience working in the procurement department in a Maintenance and Services field and deadline-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, must be willing to regularly engage in-person and over the phone and act as a point of contact between the internal/External stakeholders and suppliers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to succinctly summarize information and providing the detail necessary to take tasks independently through to completion
