Our Client a Reputable Real Estate Development Company is hiring for their Dubai operations:

Location: Dubai

Designation: Finance Manager

Department: Accounts & Finance

Position Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for:

a) daily/ weekly/ monthly/ yearly MIS on profitability and liquid position for Sr management

b) managing banking functions and relationship

c) managing accounts function and preparing financial statements and coordinate with auditors for getting the accounts audited

d) managing tax compliances of UAE

The candidate will also be responsible to assist in business development initiatives including assessment of potential new businesses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A) Financial Performance & Reporting

• Daily MIS on profitability and financial position

• Annual budgeting

• Financial Statement preparation

• Annual Audit

B) Banking

• Coordination with banks for payment remittances and documentation

• Raising of debt for new projects

• Review of various information for submission to Banks

• Bank Audit compliances

C) Tax & Compliance

• Compliance and filing as per UAE income tax law

• Compliance and filing as per VAT law

D) Miscellaneous

• Overall responsibility of Accounts Payables

• Supervision and escalation of Accounts Receivables.

• Ensure Budgetary controls by having budgetary check for all transactions

• Supervision of Accounts functions & tax compliances

• Focal point from finance for new business opportunities

• Coordination with potential investors, lenders, fund arrangers etc

• Preparing company’s presentation, financial projections, operating performance and communicating with various stakeholders

Additional Skills and Abilities:

  • Financial modelling
  • Preparation of presentations
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and accurately to banks, auditors, investors and other audiences both orally and through written material
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.;

Education, Experience and Certifications:

  • MBA (Finance)/ BBA (Finance) or semi qualified Chartered Accountant
  • 6+ years Finance & Accounts experience.
