Your Responsibilities

• The role holder will work alongside the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer concerning the management of the organisations principal risk framework and monitoring of associated risk processes. They shall also communicate risk policies and procedures for the organisation, access the risk sub-committee and develop appropriate risk models.
• Developing and implementing a risk management framework and underlying policies and procedures covering credit, operational, supplier, and model risk
• Setting out the risk appetite for the business, and earnings-at-risk thresholds for monitoring
• Preparing risk reporting for the Management Committee/audit and risk committees
• Reviewing the risk profiles of new and existing clients, vendors and other integration partners
• Ensuring effective and efficient credit models for origination and IFRS
• Ensuring appropriate skills and training are delivered concerning risk management
• Reviewing and signing off the risk assessments performed concerning critical investment/capital decisions and ongoing business performance.

Your Qualifications

• Extensive experience working in risk management or compliance
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of operational functions
• Previous experience in developing and implementing a risk framework and writing risk-related policies. Experience in a Fintech and/or supply chain finance would be advantageous
• Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to apply these to a variety of business processes
• Experience in designing and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate risk
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
