Job Title: X-Ray Technician SRF # 326

Location: Azraq Camp

Direct Supervisor: X-ray Technician Focal Point

BACKGROUND

Scope of Work:

1. To perform a variety of X-ray duties.
2. Performs routine and delegated duties according to departmental policies. Provide X-ray services according to national/MOH and WHO standards.
3. Support the clinical management of the patients in Hospital and clinics in the camp when required and as per as requested by attending physicians.
4. Take, register and, process native X-rays, e.g. chest, bones, etc.
5. Keep regular stock of X-ray consumables, e.g. films and necessary chemicals as per as agreed upon.
6. Plan and set-up the X-ray facilities according to health standards as required by the supervisor/line manager and rules and regulations.
7. This includes:

• Maintenance of X-ray stock and accurate record keeping of X-ray activities;
• Maintenance of proper storage conditions X-ray material and equipment;
• Maintain appropriate disposal of X-ray chemicals in cooperation with other actors related
• Maintenance of X-ray equipment;
• Ensure that disposal of all X-ray waste chemicals is done appropriately/in line with MOH and other requirements and documented as per requested.

1. Provide regular and timely reports; to be agreed upon with the line manager;
2. Work according to the Ministry of Health / WHO and ERU hospital guidelines, including quality

Minimum of required qualification:

1. Bachelor degree in X-Ray Technician/Radiology technology/Radiological and medical imaging
2. Minimum two years of experience and candidate must have experience in a similar role
3. License to practice in Jordan in Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission
