liwwa is looking to hire a SME – Relationship Officer to join the Sales team to expand liwwa’s portfolio of borrowers as we expand!
Main Responsibilities:
– Focusing on lending to the repeat borrowers.
– Working with the Team Leader to identify existing clients that require follow up.
– Managing a portfolio of accounts exceeding USD 3 Million (direct facilities).
– Prospecting and building a sales pipeline by engaging with marketing leads via phone.
– Visiting and presenting liwwa’s financial products to prospective clients.
– Cross-selling liwwa’s range of products and services.
– Maintaining the relationship with clients through and closely following up.
– Responsible for marketing and customer acquisition activities through various methods to achieve set targets.
– Anticipating and resolving all client related needs.
– Managing client relationships from lead to live and onwards in conjunction with Account Management.
– Building strong relationships internally to enable efficient interaction between liwwa and the clients.
– Achieving financial quarterly targets based on contracts signed.
– Researching, creating and following up on a target list of existing clients and new businesses.
Minimum Qualifications:
– University Degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing).
– Minimum 1-4 years of sales experience (Priority given to experience in SMEs).
– Excellent organizational skills.
– Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills.
– Outstanding negotiation skills.
– Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic fluently.
– Proficiency in MS Office products.
– Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset.
– Ability under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in banking facilities and trade finance is preferred.
– Banking courses (Institute of Banking Studies, Internal Banking Courses, SME Training Courses (Opic courses/ Frankfurt school courses) can be an asset.
– Experience within the financial sector.
