Objectives:

Our client, a leading investment bank in the MENA region, is looking for a Head of IT to join their team in KSA, Riyadh. The main objective for this role is to develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures on applications support services as well as managing the team to ensure that all support or service requests are dealt with according to best practices procedures.

Responsibilities:

Classify change requests according to business guidelines and service-level agreements.
Communicate proposed work plans to the senior management and application support team.
Prepare IT Budget for the application
Confirm Service Level Agreements (SLA) with users, which includes the level of application support maintenance.
Create documentation of the support services to be delivered based on each application’s functionality.
Plan application releases and configuration changes
Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems
Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing
Administer and maintain all production and internal environments
Manage application patch implementation, backup and roll-back plans
Conduct BCP & backup restoration testing
Effective Incident Ticket analysis to reduce the incident.
Preparing daily & weekly reports.
Working Experience in RDBMS preferably in Oracle. Should be able to handle the database queries independently.
