Job role
- Planning and designing auditing projects and necessary tasks to be completed.
- Thorough knowledge of auditing techniques including of IFRS standards, ISA standards, audit practices, procedures and reporting standards.
- Understanding of Manual audit and quality manual.
- Experience of entire audit process and ability to independently conclude audits.
- Industry knowledge and audit best practices to develop an audit strategy.
- Understanding and application of IFRS.
- Understanding of risk-based auditing.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Ability to understand client needs and communicate them.
- Understanding and compliance of workplace policies and procedures.
- Ensuring standards of quality and accuracy are maintained in audits and other financial reports.
- Developing strategies for junior auditors to improve their work outputs.
- Assisting in the auditing process as and when required.
- Remaining up to date with developments in relevant legislation and the field in general.
- Reporting auditing issues and assisting in resolving them.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3-4 years recent work experience as an auditor at an International Auditing Firm preferably Big Four, whilst demonstrating a progression in complexity of auditing and accounting tasks.
- Internationally recognized professional accounting qualifications – ACCA, CPA, CA, ACA or other relevant certifications is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, and French is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
- Ready to join ASAP.
