Sales Support and Tendering Specialist

You will be working as Sales Support and Tendering Specialist and will be the part of Electrification Business Area for Distribution Solutions Division based in Amman, Jordan. In this role you will be responsible to support the local Sales organization/customers & provide internal and external customer support (e.g., basic technical, order assistance, payment-related assistance) and coordinate with relevant resources to have complete case ownership and to increase customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial offers, provide technical advice and comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/sales engineers with regard to ABB products/systems/ applications. Provide technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
- Ensure the resolution of customer issues (e.g., order, technical, payment) by coordinate with Sales, operations, supply chain management, and other internal and/or external team. Coordinate appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g., production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place
- Proactively inform customers about issue status based on inputs and clarify any questions, ensure a positive customer experience throughout the entire process. Prepare and analyze regular statistics (e.g., Forecast) using available tools and collecting relevant information and target track & regular target performance and provide results to management
- Prepare offers in line with ABB bid and proposal requirements, ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, include prices and trade conditions. Support sales team and division to achieve the targeted quality and quantity KPIs.
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer need, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process
- Prepare sales support plans using company tools, perform regular status reviews and propose recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls. Support in creating the added value for the customer ABB and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective techniques. Communicate details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions) and manage administrative procedures in sales, process and support collection and project management activities when needed.
Your background
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5- 7 years experience in a similar role, good team player, good multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines, well organized.
- Fluency in English language.
