DevOps Engineer in our office in Amman, Jordan.
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for working on various cloud infrastructure services used across the Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, controlling, and administrating the cloud investiture and DevOps resources for the company. Using automation tools and modern principle this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional and highly optimized applications.
Responsibilities
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Develop scripts to automate visualization.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow.
Skills & Competencies
- Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as a code tool, especially terraform.
- Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell, Bash script or Python .
- Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments.
- Have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- +2 years of professional experience in working as a DevOps engineer.
- Excellent level of written and spoken English (extra languages are preferable).
