Our Client
We are partnered with a leading Financial Services company in the UAE
On their behalf we are looking for an experienced DataScientistt to join their fast paced team.
Your Responsibilities

• Translate given business problem into analytical use-cases with defined outcomes to develop, implement and test most appropriate algorithms for a given use-case
• Strong conceptual understanding of machine learning algorithms including multi-variant regressions, classification algorithms, time series techniques, clustering, NLP, Image Processing, and optimization models etc.
• End-to-end delivery of multiple medium to large projects within timelines and budget requirements
• Ensuring all project documentation is up to date and maintain the highest levels of quality in deliverables
• Engage and work with external clients from risk, products, portfolio, etc. during the process of identification of data, development of scorecard and deployment
• support ad-hoc requirement in terms of MIS development, building and analyzing SAS Data Models, streamlining the reporting process through various reporting and analytical tools
• Responsible for Periodic Monitoring of models

Your Qualifications:

• Post Graduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in Credit Risk Modelling
• Experience with ML modelling techniques
• Understanding of banking products and banking functional knowledge
• Expert-level proficiency in Python with SAS/R/Spark
• Experience in risk analytics (model development, strategy and framework, scorecard development, documentation, validation, governance, implementation and automation etc.)
• Results oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style, with the ability to tailor data driven results to various audience levels
