Key Accountabilities

To develop and implement the Cards strategy and monitor cards business performance to identify opportunities and grow the cards spends and generate cards revenue.

Other Accountabilities

Prepare budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified
Recommendation for creation / enhancement of Cards portfolio strategy based on analysis / feedback
Provide analysis / info to create customers segments and acquire the most profitable segments
Liaise with stakeholders to explore and expand credit card portfolio product range to provide the most profitable credit card products for the customer.
Develop and initiate portfolio management strategy to drive increase in spends, ENR and revenue across all card products
Conduct periodic / ad-hoc Cards portfolio analysis including but not limited to account review, pricing review and credit score review
Provide advisory role to existing CBQ cards business portfolio to minimize risk and optimize profitability for the business.
Develop financial models to ensure profitability on new products, promotions and card features
Identify opportunities for cross sell of Credit card products and share the leads with frontline/ RM team to contact the customers
Provide periodic / ad-hoc reports for relevant stakeholders to ensure visibility to CBQ Credit card portfolio performance and facilitate the decision-making process
Perform financial analysis to evaluate performance trends, forecast future trends & customer behaviour patterns in order to recommend opportunities for potential growth
Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards
