The Front OfficeRelationship Management is the key sales unit for the Private Bank Front Office staff are the main point of contact for all clients and generate the income for the Private Bank Presently it consists of 8 marketseach managed by 1 Market Leader Dubai Northern Emirates being one of the largest markets The markets in turn are suborganized in teamseach managed by 1 Team Leader Each team consists of 26 Relationship Managers and 1to3 Assistant Bankers
Detailed Description:
The Team Leader is one of the key positions within the Private Bank The position has both managerial as well as Revenue generating responsibilities and still dedicates about 5060 of hisher capacity to client relationship management The Team Leader typically manages a team with a total portfolio of AED 1550 billion generating AED 12 to 50 million Revenue
Managing a team of Relationship Managers and Assistant Bankers incl but not limited to coaching team members and supporting them with criticallargest relationships through visiting them regularly with the Relationship Manager
Assuming full responsibility of the teams Net New Money and Revenue budget
Managing an own book to generate Net New Money Revenues
Job Requirements:
Contribute to the growth of the Private Bank
NNM target team sum of team members individual targetsdepending on team
NNM own book AED 400 m pa
Revenueteam sum of team members individual targetsdepending on team
Revenueown book Depending on the of the total book this can vary between AED 5 m and 15 m
Increase the share of Invested Assets
Target of 20 share of invested assets in 2012Investments as percentage of Assets under Management and up to 30 and 40 in 2013 and 2014 respectively
Increase the clients share of wallet and contribute to the diversification of the Private Bank
Crossrefer clients to other business units of the BankCorporate Banking Trade Finance Treasury and others total number of referrals as per individual KPI scorecard
Place andor originate Direct Investment Deals total number of deals and volume as per individual KPI scorecard
Increase team work and develop team members
Better team spirit
Structured individual training and development plans for each team member
Contribute to platform enhancements
Better systems processes procedures as well as precuts leading to increased customer satisfaction and retention
Additional Details:
MBA in Finance or Bachelors degree
CFA or equivalent financial services qualifications
Min 8 years of relevant experience in Financial Services
Min 3 years of experience in Middle Eastern markets
First managerial experience in leading 12 JuniorsAssistants
Strong knowledge about the majority of all assets liabilities products as well as capital markets portfolio management and investment products
Full understanding of Compliance Due Diligence and AntiMoney Laundering Acts as well as standard banking procedures
General understanding of legal structuresOffshore Trusts
Ability to manage train coach and mentor a sales force of at least 46 Relationship Managers
Lead by example by possessing the ability to not only inspire and manage your team of Relationship Managers effectively but also develop an own book of clients successfully
Foster and promote entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity amongst team members and cultureQualifications
