ELV / Communication Technician

Job Description

Typically, from a Low Voltage/MEP/BMS background with knowledge of cable plans, terminations and experience with testing and cabling characteristics
Running routine tests on telecommunications systems to ensure that all components are functioning at optimal levels.
Network installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools.
Verification of service by testing circuits, equipment, and alarms; and identifying, correcting, or escalating problems.
Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, and legal regulations
