Job Summary:
The Financial Reporting Manager owns and manages ACCPAC reporting tool; prepares monthly and quarterly management accounts dashboard pack; prepares Sales Analysis report; analyzes Magrabi performance with external companies similar in business size; Shares Quarterly financial reports with Lenders/Partners/External Auditors. Leads the budget preparation process; Leads outlook preparation and five years business projection.

Responsibilities:
1- Owns and manages ACCPAC reporting tool. This includes:
- Maintains all the historical and budget financial data in ACCPAC.
- Maintains a booklet for Chart of Account & other analysis codes that matches with ACCPAC.
- Creates / deletes / activates new GL ac, Company code & Cost Centers.
- Ensures all ACCPAC related reports are available for easy access and up to date for formats & regulation changes.
- Ensures minority interest are calculated according to latest profit-sharing agreement.
- Ensures ACCPAC data reconciled with DMS reporting system & no mismatch between the systems.
- Prepares monthly and quarterly management accounts dashboard
- Prepares commentaries for variance analysis Actual Vs Budget & prior Years & highlights / recommends action to achieve agreed targets.
2- Prepares Sales Analysis report by branch / country level
- Uses BI system to generate Sales analysis report for every 10 days
- Analyzes and shares the findings Vs budget and Last year in an executive summary format to leadership team.
3- External Benchmark Analysis
- Analyzes Magrabi performance with external companies similar in business size. This includes comparing Magrabi’ s performance with major healthcare providers & key customers across the region.
- Benchmarks growth, margin generated, investments, leverage, utilization through key ratio analysis.
- Shares the findings on quarterly basis with recommendations for internal improvements.
4- Sharing Quarterly financial reports with Lenders / Partners / External Auditors
- Prepares Monthly / Quarterly financials (Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) in a specific pre-agreed reporting format to share with lenders & partners (includes IFC / Commercial bank / Mouwasat / PWC).
- Circulates these reports within agreed timeline after getting approval from line manager & CFO
5- Leads the budget preparation process, this includes,
- Preparing Budget Input template for data gathering.
- Preparing Budget Preparation agenda / timeline.
- Preparing Budget key assumptions. .
- Preparing presentation for review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited University or College.
- 5 years’ previous experience as management accountant or related accounting experience.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); experience with accounting software
- Exceptional knowledge of analyzing risks, preparing forecasts, cost accounting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and country regulations
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Comfortable and capable of advising and presenting to senior management.
