The Role in brief:

The Developer will be responsible for extracting and copying business data and loading it into a data warehousing environment that they have designed. You will be consulting with data management teams to get a big-picture idea of the company’s data storage needs.

Your responsibilities:

• Designing and coding the data systems to desired company specifications.
• Conducting preliminary testing of the warehousing environment before data is extracted.
• Extracting company data and transferring it into the new warehousing environment.
• Testing the new storage system once all the data has been transferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Should take ownership of design, development and testing of all data transformation, extraction and migration activities from Oracle 10g to Oracle 21c Database
• Significant knowledge of PL/ SQL including tuning, triggers, and stored procedures
• Prepare and package scripts and code across development, test and QA environments
• Participate in change control planning for production deployments
• Desire to learn new skills and improve existing ones
• Providing maintenance support

المهارات

Your Qualifications and experience :

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field required
• 10+ years of Oracle Database Development experience with latest development skills on Oracle
• Experience with Linux including shell scripting
• Experience using the PLSQL Developer or Toad software packages
• Experience developing queries, procedures, and reports for enterprise Oracle environment
• Experience in designing and maintaining logical and physical data models
• Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes. ETL processing of large data sets from different databases
• More than 5 years of experience using EDI, X12 and XML standards
• Oracle 21c understanding, Oracle PL/SQL Proficiency
• PL/SQL development for production system including full life-cycle from requirements-gathering through team product-testing.
