BSc in Engineering or equivalent.
11 year's of professional experience in Project planning, monitoring and production control.
Excellent knowledge & exposure on planning techniques and planning software.
High skills in communication, organization, follow up, problem solving, team work, cost analysis, initiatives, supervision.
Good personality & character.
Fluent in written and spoken English including technical writing.
Computer literate with familiarity of major software's related to data handling and Planning systems.
Contractual, Commercial and cost control awareness and knowledge.
Offshore/onshore oil & gas EPC contracting industry awareness and knowledge.
Role / Purpose
In charge of projects/tenders/segment planning, monitoring & production control services for large projects (USD 50-200 M) that require high calibre level in order to meet set targets in terms of project schedule, optimum productivity and optimum efficiency.
Accountabilities / Duties / Responsibilities
Co-ordinates and manages all project planning, monitoring and production control related issues with the Client/Sub-contractors/executing.
Establish Project Work Break-Down Structure (WBS), Project Control Strategy, Master Schedule and Action Plan for Planning Deliverables issuance.
Prepare & Issue Project Planning Package
Prepare & issue Project Control Procedure (project specific)
Prepare and adopt necessary tools/methods to effectively monitor and control project progress, schedule & resources, so as to ensure the efficient and timely achievement of project milestones/key dates.
Periodic update of planning package, progress reports, monitoring package & production control tools in co-ordination and communication with various executing parties (Engineering, Procurement, Yards, Offshore, sub-contractors and PMT).
Processes and analyses planning & project control related data/ results. Communicate project status to all concerned, follow up concerns until corrective action is taken.
Regular site visits for progress follow up.
Identify potential problems, initiate early warnings and alert management with proposed corrective actions
Provide necessary analysis and tools for appropriate decisions by higher management.
Prepare Invoice back-ups, as applicable
Attends meetings (Client, sub-contractors and Internal)
Supervises and provide necessary guidance to subordinate staff, ensure accuracy, neatness and timely issuance of deliverables.
Provide necessary inputs for various internal management / corporate level reports
Participate in the enhancement process of planning system.
Resume the duty of Pl. Engineer or Planning Manager during his absence.
Compliance with PCS procedures and HSE Standards.
