ABOUT SAINT LAURENT Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prt–porter in a 1966 collection called Rive Gauche, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio-cultural landscape. In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe. Today, Saint Laurent collections include women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.
Mission
To support the Communications Manager in raising awareness about the brand through Media, Marketing, and Public Relations. The right candidate will have a deep and broad understanding of the Media and the luxury landscape, be hands on and show the capacity to build, and develop various networks.
Main assignments
- Coverage compilation and reporting
- Daily press relations and follows ups on news dissemination
- PR & Events admin support such as: Planning and assisting with events
- Manage press photoshoots and showroom samples (logistics)
- Press communication and editorial planning
- Influencer communication and planning
- Update media list
Profile
- Recent university graduate with a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Media or other related majors
- Fluent in English Arabic or French is a plus
- Positive, curious and interested in culture, art and fashion
- Regional market knowledge and interest in Fashion and Luxury industries
- Committed to excellence and detail oriented
- Dynamic and pro-active, resilient with a can-do attitude
