Responsibilities
- Implement CDD on-boarding process, including sanctions checks and verifications in accordance with established procedures.
- Apply technical knowledge of onboarding less complex entity types such as individuals and simple private limited companies.
- Provide CDD and AML support to all levels of stakeholders across the firm and external clients.
- Review brokerage agreements/transaction when conducting CDD and AML
- Assist with the ongoing monitoring of clients.
- Maintain and manage the work along with legal department.
- Ensure you work towards achieving your weekly target in a fast-paced, high-volume team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant CDD and AML regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CDD function.
- Register in the goAML in UAE as compliance officer and act on behalf of the company in such related matters.

Professional experience and personal skills profile
Qualifications/Education Required.
- preferably Legal Degree or minimum of 6 years’ experience in a reputable company providing dedicated CDD and AML support. Or
- ICA certificate in AML, Financial Crime or Compliance (Optional)
Systems & IT competence
- General experience of Microsoft Office packages.
- Adobe Full version
- Experience of third party CDD or client on-boarding screening tools.
Aptitudes/Skills Required
- understanding of CDD/AML.
- experience and technical knowledge of onboarding individuals and a variety of other non-complex entity types is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of UAE Federal Law No. 20 of 2018 (AML Law); (b) UAE Federal Law No. 7 of 2014 on "Combating Terrorist Offences; (c) UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 10 of 2019 on the implementation of the AML Law; and UAE Cabinet Resolution No. 74 of 2020 on the implementation of terror lists (Sanctions Resolution).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Must be well presented, have a clear, confident speaking voice, good time management and planning skills.
- Must have a positive “hands on” attitude to supporting internal and external clients.
