Recruiting and Talent Business Analyst for Workday project

HR Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI) is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR Technology strategy and Roadmap that enables efficient and effective HR business processes and activities while ensuring compliance with HR Policies and legislative requirements.
Our technology strategy priorities are to create value for the Organization through provision of trusted workforce data and analytics for smarter people management decisions, reduced administrative burden for our employees through automation and self-services, and making life at work better through awesome employee experience.
WFP has started the implementation of Workday Human Capital Management and is currently looking for a dynamic Business Analyst to join the project team. The prefect candidate would have ideally a proven experience in Recruiting as well as a good understanding of other HR business processes to be able to work efficiently with our technical and business stakeholders
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Test Analyst will report to Recruiting and Talent Functional Lead.
1. Support test scenarios development efforts in coordination with the Functional lead and the various stakeholders (Business SMEs, Workday consultants…)
2. Support the End-to-End Testing, Integrations testing, and User Readiness Testing of Workday in the domains of Recruiting, Talent and Learning
3. Coordinate Testing activities with the other workstreams ie Core HCM, Reporting and Analytics, ensure the testing scenarios are executed and results documented.
4. Monitor and Manage defects in relationship with the Workday counterparts
5. Work with the Functional lead, the Change Management team, Business SMEs to establish the best training strategy for Recruiting, Talent and Learning and work closely with the Training team to develop training materials and courses
6. Support the implementation of the Adoption Platform YesElf/AppLearn with the objectives to provide guided tours and real time help to end users.
7. Prepare, Manage and deliver training sessions, remotely and in person, as circumstances require.
8. Support Data migration and Data Validation efforts in line with Recruiting, Talent and Learning.
9. Assist the Functional lead and the business support team during the Hypercare stage
10. Support the scoping activities for the second phase of the implementation of Workday especially for the Talent related business processes.
11. Coordinate and facilitate the organization of discovery sessions for HRM SMEs, Contribute to the SOW definition.
12. Perform analysis of business and user needs, and document business requirements, features and functional specifications for the implementation of Workday Talent and Workforce Planning for phase 2.
13. Benchmark current HR processes against industry standard for best practice HR processes.
14. Work with SMEs and corporate stakeholders to benefit as much as possible of Workday HCM capabilities.
15. Work closely with Staffing Coordinators and other corporate stakeholders to ensure their needs are considered
16. Support the Functional lead on all the stages of Workday implementation Phase 2
17. Other tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: University’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or other relevant field.
Experience: Six or more years of postgraduate relevant professional experience in Human Resources field, preferably with a global organization.
Minimum 3 years of working experience as HR Officer in Recruiting or Talent/Career Management.
Proven experience in Business Process Mapping, development of Business requirements, System testing
Proven experience in developing Learning content and providing trainings
Knowledge & Skills:
Advanced use of HCM and/or Talent Management systems (ideally Workday, Oracle Cloud or SuccessFactors).
Excellent knowledge of HR business processes especially related to Talent and Recruiting, and best industry practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Able to document and analyze HR business process.
Able to develop training content and deliver face to face or remote trainings
Able to work under broad direction, is self-initiated, responsible for meeting allocated objectives.
Languages: Fluency in oral and written English with an intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) or Portuguese (one of WFP’s working languages).
