Description:
An industry leading contractor in the Joinery market requires an Estimator to oversee pricing on various high-end commercial, residential and infrastructure project.
Duties will include:
. The role involves producing estimates from drawings and or bills of quantities
. Providing accurate and detailed estimates for internal and external bespoke joinery items.
. Liaising alongside the Project Manager on tender submissions.
. Replying to general information requests.
. Ordering materials
. Improving efficiency of process from enquiry to proposal.
. Providing administrative support to the bespoke joinery division.
Role Requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in:
. Bespoke joinery estimating
. Knowledge of the joinery industry in a pre contracts/ estimating role
. Flexible self-starter with ability to prioritise
. Analytical and problem-solving skills
. Excellent customer service skills.
. Good general IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
