Worley is currently looking for an experienced Buyer to be part of our team on a project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides all project procurement activities as required by Project and also ensures the proper coordination with other project disciplines to meet all procurement milestone dates.
. Assists development of Project Procurement Plan and Strategy
. Manages/ Conducts Suppliers (Vendors) Pre-Qualification Process
. Prepares RFQ packages / RFQ bidder lists
. Issues RFQ, collect Bids
. Prepares commercial bid evaluations
. Negotiates / Clarifies commercial matters with Bidders
. Prepares Approval forms for PO placement
. Issues POs
. Administrates POs
. Expedites all deliverables defined in POs including delivery of the ordered equipment/ materials / services
. Coordinates inspection / logistics matters with relevant parties
. Obtains / Assesses Suppliers (Vendors) Progress Report
. Obtains invoices and Assess invoices for payments
. Prepares / Updates Procurement Reports such as PSR/ESR/LSR
. Assesses / Evaluates Suppliers(Vendors) Performance
. Performs POs close-outQualifications
Must have:
. Bachelor's Degree or higher, in Engineering or Business Management
. +5 Year Experience of EPC or EPCM Contract and Project Procurement
. Thorough knowledge of project procurement process, practices & commercial terms and conditions, IK/OOK market & suppliers, logistics, international codes and standards.
. Strong skills of commercial awareness, negotiation, internal/external communication, presentation & reporting and MS (word/excel/power point/teams, etc.)
