Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Job Purpose:
Provide Project Management on Avionics and Mission Systems integration projects to execute and complete projects by applying proven methodologies to make the project a success.
Job Responsibilities
Detailed planning, controlling, and monitoring of the Schedule, Cost and Quality
Resource Management
Risk Management
Participate in the Project Reviews and preparation of contractual and technical documentation required to certify the achievement of contract milestones.
Understands specialty equipment, keeps knowledge up to date, is a technical resource for others, follows technology practices and standards.
Comply with company Corporate Governance and other company rules and regulations.
Maintain and preserve the project confidentiality agreement with company
Maintain a good coordination with end users to ensure their ultimate satisfaction.
Technical
Excellent use of English language skills(written and spoken)
Must have general, verbal, and numerical intelligence including reading and matching of numerical sequences.
Technical writing skills.
Business acumen.
Ability to understand internal/external customer technologies and problem resolution techniques, communicate effectively with customers, listen to symptom descriptions, analyze problems, respond effectively, and provide constructive feedback to the client on problem resolution.
Essential experience skills shall include coordination with various discipline engineers during concept optimization studies, detailed engineering development and management of such contracts; commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting of design projects shall be required
Knowledge of the process of technology transfer through strategic alliances and partnerships, joint ventures, including the legal agreements involved and the procedures of monitoring and ensuring transfer is being implemented. Understanding the implications of intellectual property and how it is valued, registered, and protected.
Document/report drafting skills.
PC skills.

Qualifications/Education
Tertiary qualification in an Engineering discipline
Tertiary qualification in Project Management preferred
Minimum 5 years working experience in a Project / Programme Management capacity
Minimum 10 years working experience within the aerospace industry
