Marketing Executive (UAE National)

About the Role:

The role holder is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of Marketing activities across the relevant focus area: Events, PR, Social media, Corporate Communication, Retail Brand Marketing, etc., to support the marketing strategy and objectives.
Core Responsibilities:

  • Translates the Marketing objectives into clear, concise and understood briefs ensures execution as per business standard

  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives

  • Maintains records of marketing expenses, agency fees and regularly updates management on budget expenditure and overall costs

  • Ensures adherence to the corporate brand guidelines (branding layout and display, social media, etc.) in all marketing initiatives

  • Creates and manages a monthly communication summary report to keep stakeholders abreast of completed activities

Social Media:

  • Manages social media presence through effective handling of the company's social media accounts with social media companies such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube etc. on daily basis

  • Supports conceptualization and execution of promotional activities and events for brands and services through social media channels

  • Maintains and tracks data to analyze and monitor the effectiveness of various aspects of social media campaigns such as community, traffic, conversations and engagements, leads and conversions

  • Creates and manages periodic communication summary report of all social media activities to keep the team abreast of ongoing and completed initiatives

  • Participates in various tasks related to community management and content generation

Events Management:

  • Researches and identifies suitable events opportunities and makes suggestions for the brand event participation

  • Co-ordinates with event management agencies for all activities and logistical matters related to the management, administration, implementation and delivery of events, including securing and booking suitable venues

  • Maintains records of the Business Unit's events and initiatives including details on event participation etc., for the purpose of enhancing the members and contacts database

PublicRelations:

  • Provides support in executing on the PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve brand recognition, understanding and awareness.

  • Maintains effective working relationships with media and PR agencies

  • Monitors the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, for opportunities for clients

Retail Marketing:

  • Plans and executes brand marketing initiatives to enhance consumer experience at stores and maximizes loyalty towards the brand

  • Participates in planning the seasonal brand campaign initiatives, and drives the implementation at stores across the GCC, as per the overall marketing strategy

  • Shares the plan with internal/external teams and integrates them in planning/execution

  • Ensures execution of brand campaigns within the pre-assigned budget/deadline

  • Ensures stores are constantly on track and well maintained

Corporate Communication (GMG Specific):

  • Participates in launching and executing e-mail marketing campaigns

  • Identifies, develops and executes communications strategy for key media contacts and customer references.

  • Creates and delivers press releases, media relations content, case studies, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, and speaking proposals

  • Researches media coverage and industry trends

  • Supports in translating and conceptualizing the Group's mission, vision and values into a corporate culture within the business using suitable platforms for communication

Self-Management:

  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year

  • Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development

  • Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or any relevant discipline


Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience
