IT Application Developer (POWERSCHOOL) | Universal American School | Dubai

About the Role:

To define, Lead and manage the application development, architecture, security and recoverability of all application services on apple and windows platform.

Key Responsibilities.

Plan, schedule and coordinate till completion for the new application development
Understand client requirements and how they translate in application features
Devise an effective design prototypes according to specifications
Support an IT security strategy while ensuring compliance with internal policies and country regulations
Write high quality source code program and complete applications within deadlines
Perform unit integration testing before launch
Conduct functional and non-functional testing
Develop and maintain agile, high speed, secure offshore communication systems
Evaluate existing applications to reprogram update and add new features
Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code
Design, develop and install – application/reporting enhancements and upgrades

Responsible for creating and updating the school data dashboard
