Our Client
Leading MSSP based in Qatar
Your Responsibilities

Leading the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program
Reporting to Director Information Security and CIO on a weekly basis to ensure progress is followed
Ensuring audit evidence is documented
Exploring, analyzing, and implementing the company's security systems
Verifying the systems and information security management processes to identify breaches
Developing and implementing corrective actions for security breaches
Developing, implementing, and maintaining internal procedures to ensure data security
Evaluating and improving the existing security systems within the organization
Developing disaster recovery plans
Managing the IS-related risks of the organisation
Ensure that IS policies and procedures are reviewed periodically
Ensure adherence to IS policies, procedures and related guidelines
Support the IS director to ensure the implementation of IS processes and procedures and related guidelines.
Identify and report on the effectiveness of the security controls
Assist the IS director in implementing security measures to protect systems, network and data

Your Qualifications

University degree in computer science or related field
Exposure to IT service management best practices such as ITIL and ISO27001
5+ years in IT services or related organization
Experience in ISO27001 process and procedures and can work on its own his/her own with little supervision
An excellent communicator at all levels.
A sound knowledge of IT security best practice, common attack types and detection / prevention methods.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and great organisational skills
An active interest in Cyber Security, incident detection, network and systems security.
Experience or qualifications in network and systems monitoring
