Job Description
Job Title: Electronics Engineer IIIa (UGV)
Job Purpose: To develop and design electronic components/sub-systems and supervise the assembling and installation process in order to ensure the completion of integration activities as per the program/project requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
Conduct study (under supervision of Senior Electronics Engineer) of electronics components/ systems to analyses existing systems/components and/or recommend new/modified systems/components and/or design new systems/components
Provide analysis of electronic designs and subsystems to analyze the full system/subsystem functionality
Based on the outcome of pre-modification/integration inspection, Electrical System Engineer will be accountable for the following:
Support Senior Electronics Engineer on the selection of electronic systems/components based on the performed studies
Supervise Technicians or coordinate with manufacturing partner/supplier to assemble and integrate modified electrical systems/components or
Simulate new electronics systems/components and document the key design aspects/specifications and conduct engineering design analysis to enable appropriate scoping of electronics systems/components and carry out the revisions, if required
Implement risk mitigation plans and monitor the outcomes
Work with the electronics designers to communicate the design, assembly drawings, schematics of electronic systems/components to manufacturing partner/supplier, as applicable
Supervise Technicians or coordinate with manufacturing partner/supplier to assemble and integrate new electrical components/sub-systems
Carry out the testing of product prototypes in coordination with testing team
Troubleshoot minor installation issues, as and when required
Carry out post integration examination (in coordination with Testing Team) to verify proper functioning of electrical systems/components and final inspection to verify the completion of integration activities
Develop technical reports and documentation as required
Adhere to HSE (health, safety and environment) and environmental procedures
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Minimum Experience
Electrical/electronic Engineering graduate
