E-Commerce Senior Accountant – UAE National Hire
Job Description
Job Purpose
This position is required to ensure accurate accounting and settlement with the vendors, record and maintain all the supporting documents of the transactions.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensures the truth of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by collecting and analysing account information.
- Maintains and subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledgers by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Completes external audits by analysing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World's Principles, values and culture ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities understanding and following DP World's Code of Conductand Ethics policies
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelors in Accounting
- 5 years experience in Accounting/Finance.
- Qualified Accountant.
- Experience in eCommerce financial field.
- Fluent in English verbal and written.
- Knowledge of MS office tools (Excel and Word).
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion.
