Leads one or more services within the Risk Service Line and manages end-to-end service roadmap and implementation supported by a team of Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Developers, Testers, Production Support etc.
Risk Service Line is the IT enablement function for FAB's Group Risk business function, that manages IT platforms & processes for all areas within Group Risk such as Capital Management, Market & Liquidity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Fraud & Operational Risk Management, ESG Risk Management etc.
- Define vision & value proposition for Risk Service Line along with Business.
- Builds trust & relationship with Business.
- Service Strategy Input, shaping & maintaining the service catalogue.
- Oversight on Demand Management, Release Milestones, Projects Risks, Support SLA breaches, IT security/ vulnerability issues etc.
- Setting the right KPIs and OKRs for Service Teams and tracking progress
- Creating right capacity and delivering on BAU backlog for Risk Service
- Adherence to Disaster Recovery (DR) requirements for critical applications
- Managing and coordinating cross-service deliveries
- Shaping the right Agile Culture, Mindset and Maturity
- Jointly defines the Technology strategic roadmap which lead to Service Teams backlog
- Works closely with the Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver the target business value
- Empowers, supports and guides the Service Teams to work effectively
- Is aware of initiatives in other Domains and ensure alignment / overlap
- Provides guidance and extensive support for Service Delivery activation and gradual Agile transformation
- Accountable for delivery of feature / release for the Service within scope and timeline
- Supports Service Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters in delivery of Feature
- Should be aware of project risks / issues and responsible to support the team in avoiding any impact on the program delivery
- Ensures the engineering team has recovery plan / back-up plan for mitigating any risk/ issues
- Ensure risks / technology vulnerabilities identified during program execution are managed as per IT risk management process and work closely with the team for fixing / mitigating the risk by including in backlog
Qualifications
- 12+ Years of Experience in Service Delivery Management.
- Excellent knowledge of the risk functions, systems and processes such as Credit risk, Market & Liquidity Risk, Capital Mgmt., IFRS9, Fraud & Operational Risk, CCR, RWA, etc.
- Sound understanding of the different risk-related regulations such as Basel, SA-CCR, FRTB etc.
- Experience in implementing and supporting risk solutions within large financial institutions.
- Proven record of managing large scale risk systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity to present, discuss, and explain issues coherently and logically, in writing and verbally
- Strong and proven leadership skills in managing and developing a team.
